Walker Building Lofts

The historic Walker Lofts building at 115 W. 4th in downtown Long Beach was formerly the home of a bustling department store. In 2002 the building was converted to lofts. The rooftop common area for Walker Lofts gives residents a spectacular view to the Pacific. The beach is just a few blocks to the south.

Originally built in 1923, the building was home to the Kress Dime Store which closed in 1981. After sitting vacant for eleven years, in 1992 the building was restored, then converted into lofts. The building has been designated as a Historic Landmark by the city of Long Beach.
